This bamboo can reach 5m high. Canes are approximately 4cm wide. Old canes have yellow stripes.

This Indian variety bamboo reaches 10m high. Young canes are covered with an attractive, bluish, waxy coating. Canes are approximately 12cm wide and once mature, take on a very attractive wooden colour with bright blue rings.
