This bamboo can reach 8m high. Canes are approximatly 5cm wide. It has been known to be used for construction scaffolding. Its tensile strength exceeding 40,000 PSI

This low branching clumping bamboo is an excellent hedge plant.

This bamboo can reach 5m high. Canes are approximately 4cm wide. Old canes have yellow stripes.

This variety is the most commercial clumping variety used for its edible shoots.

This magnificent giant can reach 20m high. Canes are approximately 15cm wide and once mature, take on a very attractive wooden colour with bright rings.

Indian Blue Bamboo
Dendrocalamus hamiltonii

This Indian variety bamboo reaches 10m high. Young canes are covered with an attractive, bluish, waxy coating. Canes are approximately 12cm wide and once mature, take on a very attractive wooden colour with bright blue rings.

This bamboo can reach 12m high. Its shiny canes are approximately 11cm wide and are a deep green colour.
