Hakea 'Mini Pini'
Hakea laurina (Dwarf form)

A dwarf form of the Pincushion Hake, growing to a height of between 0.6m-1.0m. During autumn and winter this lovely rounded shrub is covered with globular, pincushion-like flowers of red and cream, about the size of golf balls. The flowers are followed some time later by woody seed capsules which are quite ornamental. Both the flowers and seed capsules can be used for indoor decoration.

Prefers full sun or dappled shade in well-drained soil. Tolerates coastal exposure and makes for a great low hedge, border or container plant.
